Chessify

Post by CornfedForever »

I am waiting to get a top of the line laptop; but in the meantime have been wondering about Chessify to analyse chess games/openings.
I downloaded the 'free' option last night and have used the Chessbase plug in.

The plug in seems to work fine so far...and Stockfish is MUCH faster than the 13 yr old laptop I'm using currently.

Would anyone have an opinions about this item? I saw a review here from 2022, but was wondering about individual experiences. Thanks!

I use it a lot.

They have an active forum as well with some good IDeAs in the pot ;)

IDeAs...meaning I guess the Aquarium stuff?

I just asked them for a 20 day 'free amateur' version; mainly to compare the nps between that and the free version.

I downloaded the Chessbase plug in and it seems to work fine...when I can get an engine. I was even able to use the Chessbase Tactical Analysis option on a 3/0 chess.com game using their engine.

I also copy/pasted a pgn file of a nested line I've been working on to their chessify.me website...I'm not sure if the NPS is better there or within the Chessbase plug-in...kinda like that plug in.

As a 60th Birthday present to myself...needing a new computer, I think I am going to get a 7945HX laptop, 16 big multi-threaded cores, 64GB RAM....wondering if I will even use Chessify once I get that.

They are working on new features. Hopefully something like Aquarium is coming.

There have been server issues recently but now it seems to be working fine.

You should be able to get the 300 MNs server (160 cores) within 2 minutes and the 1 BNs server (512 cores!) in 5 minutes

If anyone has been using the Chessify mobile app (without a Chessify subscription), can you please report your experience with it?

Is there full Stockfish and tablebase access for analysis of positions on your phone?
