I think Qe8!? is too passive for the Dragon. White, in this computer game, appeared to have an easy time of it.

Who is using it? Or, is this a common line in computer games?

What do you suggest instead? Carlsen likes to play a6 (the Dragondorf) and wiki suggests Re8 but neither of those look particularly good to me. At least Qe8 gives black some drawing chances.

SF-dev eval for Qe8 is always >+0.7 and go to +0.98 at D=38..45

a6 is best move according to Komodo 9.3, but it fails-low in SF-Dev at D=38+
