Limited Razoring ?

Just a stupid question :
What is "limited razoring" ?
Is it another way to say "Futility Pruning at depth 3" or is it something else ?

Limited razoring involves depth reduction, not pruning. However, the idea is that if the depth is reduced you can then hit the futility test and may prune there.
