Here white played Bxf6..!
Novag Scorpio takes 6 ply ........6 min. 45 sec.
RISC takes ..............................2 min. 17 sec.
Fidelity machines have trouble with this one...
Most programs try Nxg7 first..

even after 10 full minutes and 9 ply the Saitek Brute Force wants to play Nxg7

Yes, I know ...even the Novag Sapphire2 does the same thing...Nxg7...etc.

Look for the good test move by Morphy I will post now...this one will be much easier..

Sorry...the book just gives the last 6 moves...black was Laurentius
and it was played as a "correspondence game"....
probably by sending postcards...in the good old days...
