Thank you !
Time flies... SPCC gets 12 years old in may, 2026.
So much work in these years besides doing the ratinglist: Created UHO openings and the EAS Tool, all for a bright future of computerchess.

True, but Stockfish has made very small progress (40 Celo) in these 2 years. Perhaps, Reckless can progress faster? We will see. I am very impressed by the progress of Reckless until now.
But, the higher the Celo, the harder further progress...
Interesting times ahead!

Re: SPCC: Testrun of Reckless 0.9.0 finished
On Full UHO-Ratinglist, Reckless 0.9.0 seems to be significantly stronger than Stockfish 17, and only 11 Elo behind Stockfish 17.1 which was released a little less than a year ago. It seems to me that it's closer to 1 year behind.

Re: SPCC: Testrun of Reckless 0.9.0 finished
As I understand it, the main list is based only on games between the top 15 engines, while the full list also contains older games. So the game pools are different.
Also, I think the main list anchors Stockfish 18 at 3873 Elo, while the full list doesn’t. Although, IMHO, it would be better if it did, so the two lists would be more comparable to each other. But I might be missing something.

Correct. In the full ratinglist, the game (or opponent) pools are different. Very different, when you look at amount of played games.vencenda wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2026 4:34 pm As I understand it, the main list is based only on games between the top 15 engines, while the full list also contains older games. So, for getting a valid progress-history of Stockfish, the Celo-diagrams on my main site are the better choice!
That is the reason, why I include the #2 engine in there, too. First Torch, now Reckless... Here you have the better view on the race/competition between #1 and #2
