All your compiles have lost to 7.0.22. Why? Because your compile is 10% slower than official. Benches here (bmi):

your compile:
Total time (ms) : 2526
Nodes searched : 2194974
Nodes/second : 868952

official:
Total time (ms) : 2311
Nodes searched : 2194974
Nodes/second : 949794

So almost 10% difference.

And with official compile I got

Code: Select all

Score of PlentyChess7.0.37 vs PlentyChess7.0.22: 55 - 46 - 99 [0.522]
... PlentyChess7.0.37 playing White: 55 - 0 - 45 [0.775] 100
... PlentyChess7.0.37 playing Black: 0 - 46 - 54 [0.270] 100
... White vs Black: 101 - 0 - 99 [0.752] 200
Elo difference: 15.6 +/- 34.3, LOS: 81.5 %, DrawRatio: 49.5 %
200 of 200 games finished.
Reckless in danger, because PlentyChess has better scaling!?

indeed, they are slower because they are non-PGO builds (good enough for testing functionality of dev versions). i can look at making PGO builds next time. :)

Chris
Good morning,

Thank you for the compilation, we'll test it!
Hello,
After playing several games, against programs and also against humans, I've come to a sad conclusion: this program doesn't know what to do in closed games, it lacks depth of calculation and can't find lines of attack. I'm disappointed...

PlentyChess Alamat 7.0.41.10 SE: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/zg1cmg89 ... wqvj3&dl=0

play style-wise, it is more aggressive than PlentyChess Alamat 7.0.41 SE. elo-wise, it is at par with Stockfish 17.1 in blitz games (no book, no tbs).

Happy New Year! :)
