Jim, thank you so much for all the compiles and for tcec version of Spaghet. Also if you could there is a new tcec version of Quanticade Cronus 3.0. I hope that the source code is here:
https://github.com/Quanticade/Quanticade

If you could by any chance compile, that would be great!
Thank you!

Hi,

Author has asked that development versions not be compiled for public use >
please do not compile development versions of Quanticade for public use.
So I will wait for proper release before compiling.

short question:
Why do you think that the compiles from Phalanx XXIII are more interesting as from Phalanx XXV?

The last version by Dusan Dobes is Phalanx XXV

Hi Frank,

I didn't know there was a later version. I have ported over all the changes to latest XXV version.
XXV does seem a bit better/stronger.

Hi Jim,

x-mas gift around one month before ...
I want to hop in Gutweiler, Germany ... better not ... the neighbors you know.

It is really a sensation what you do for us, all that work.

Pure gold.
I think more important are the older engines, faster more modern compiles is the topic!
... in my personal opinium.

Phalanx will be your masterpiece, the idea with OliThink / Cerebrum is also very nice!!

Thank you again!!! (two more)

Jim,

shortly, maybe you give Phalanx XXV a new version number?!

Example:
- Phalanx XXV-I ... for the first one after your modifications (UCI, ponder, bugfixes)
- Phalanx XXV-II ... for the second one after your modifications (syzygy, move-overhead, bugfixes)

An important work, so I think a new version number is fully OK.
Loud thinking ...

Many people like Phalanx!
Example: Tord Romstadt, Roland Pfister, Rudolf Huber after I remember on his words in Leiden years ago, many others.

Best

Hello, Jim!
Can you compile the latest pre-release of PlentyChess? https://github.com/Yoshie2000/PlentyChe ... g/b-7.0.22
The original builds are twice as slow as yours on my computer and don't work quite correctly.
Best regards

Hi Jim, is it possible, the net is not (correct) used? I got following results (same as version without a net):

2 Olithink 5.11.9 -147 +13/=34/-53 30.00% 30.0/100 performance 2751 +36

Olithink NNUEhybrid 2025 (use NNUE + Hybrid Eval)
1 Dirty Catpaw x64 +143 +50/=39/-11 69.50% 69.5/100
2 Olithink 5.11.9NNh x64 -143 +11/=39/-50 30.50% 30.5/100 2755

Olithink NNUE 2025 (default, only the net)

2 Olithink 5.11.9NN x64 1CPU -135 +10/=43/-47 31.50% 31.5/100 2763
