I don't like to use liquid cooling. I have an Epyc 7643 system (48 cores) and it runs fine on air. I also have a Threadripper 3970x, and that's air cooled, too, but I had to stuff the case full of fans to get it to work.
Actually liquid cooling has come a long way from when I used to use it. Now it is all closed loop and really not too difficult to implement. Fans pulling air can be noisy as hell and are not as efficient.
But it's one thing when we use liquid cooling inside a 5000 € pc and it's another thing when only the cpu costs already 15000 €.
+ the same second cpu (mainboard for two cpus) = 30000 € CPUs + X € for the other stuff.
If something goes wrong after a short or long time then...
