Decepcionante que hayas eliminado el uso del libro. Puedo entender que sea difícil portarlo al nuevo Delphi. Será posible que implementes el Polyglot book? Gracias por tu atenciónAndres Valverde wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2025 8:06 pm Hi all,

Hi Werner. Nothing has changed around egbbs... so they'd had to work
Can you run the engine in console mode and send me the engine loading output ? . Thx

In the ini file, change egbbx to egbbs and then the engine will run.
Actually, Tony M and myself discovered that the issue is the latest dll files posted for the bitbases.
If you have older ones, try those.

Yes, eggbprobe version 4.3 (dll dated October 7 2021) seems not to work, 4.1 (dll dated March 24 2014) does, at least for me.

Thanks Graham and Tony. I thought that new egbb version was backward compatible at DLL level. Possibly there is an issue in my code that new version doesn't support. I'll try to fix that ASAP. Thx to Werner too!Graham Banks wrote: ↑Mon Jun 16, 2025 12:35 amIn the ini file, change egbbx to egbbs and then the engine will run.
