Indeed. But it came near the time control and for the player who was trying to equalize, so it was pretty nigh impossible to even think about it, let alone calculating deep enough :wink:

Gotta check the press conference to see if it crossed Levon's mind.

Even in correspondence chess 20 years ago it's almost impossible.

After going 13 plies deep, Komodo 9.3 (Syzygy 6) up to D=17 calculate as 0.00, only from D=18 (which is D=31 from 38. .. Rxd3) Komodo see 46. .. Qf4!
