SedatChess'site is updated

Post by Sedat Canbaz »

Dear Chess Friends,

I have just updated my site
Note that SCCT Swiss Final 2011 was missing before, plus several ones, but I have good news
Archive (SCCT Engine Tournaments) is available again:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/k8702 ... urneys.rar

Later when I will have free time, I plan to upload the games, played on previous SCCT Book Tournaments too

Btw, here is another of my greatest tournaments which I organized a few years ago :
SCCT Swiss Final 2011:
http://www.sedatcanbaz.com/chess/?page_id=1139

More Details:
•For SCCT LIVE Broadcasting is used:Logitech HD Webcam C510
•For Maximum/Best Chess Engine Performance is used second PC:
-QX9650 @3.66GHz machine is provided the LIVE broadcasting

One thing more,
Sometimes I am wondering... :)
What is missing in my chess activities that 'SCCT or Sedat' is not mentioning by some chess friends ?
1)Is that can be the reason that Perfect books or SCCT private books play not so strong in Antalya/Turkey :) ?
2)Or maybe there is something wrong in my test conditions and that's why the engines don't perform very good :) ?
3)Or perhaps some people think that I am new (amateur) in computer chess ?
A little note: I share my free chess activities since 2000 years
And sorry that I have no free time to inform you about all my chess activities...
But believe me it will take several days or months to explain what I did for CompterChess's progress

Note: I am asking these questions, just because I wish to improve my work in better way

*Another interesting/strange note,
Almost all my free chess activities are often criticized, some of them even tried to damage my prestige
But thanks to God and in each trying... my work become much more powerful!
Of course, I don't claim that my work is perfect, but I wonder which one is perfect ?

To be honest,
I see my current situation like: Turkey will be never accepted to European Union :)

What a double standard :) ?

Sad...but true!

And last,
Nobody can be on Top by the work of others!

Sedat - have you made your new Perfect book available in cgb format for ChessGUI?
I'd be keen to use it in some of my gauntlets and tournaments.

Graham.

PS - to other posters. Why spoil computer chess friendships by introducing politics and religion?

Dear Graham,

Nowadays I have no much free time, but later (I don't want to promise) maybe I can work over cgb format for ChessGUI

Agreed...strange indeed that some people spoil politics and religion, maybe that's why my chess activities are not respected or not mentioning...

If I follow their way:
-I should test only Non-Christian chess engines
-My benchmarks, SCCT games or Perfect books should not be allowed for Christian people

But I never preferred this way and I don't plan to do that in the future...

I have BIG respect to all nations and religions!!

Most part of this thread was pruned as it was devolving into politics/religion flamewar. Those interested in such topics can discuss them in CTF, thank you.
