Thanks to you!

As far as I understand, Viorel Darie already worked in the 70s on a chess program Felix Astro 64 for the Felix C mainframe, later ported to a 8080 based microcomputer (Calculator Universal de Birou) CUB-Z, and the dedicated Labirint 64.

Yes !

Viorel Darie has learned in Iasi "Al.I. Cuza" University. He is an erudite ( is also a good writer ). His very short biography is here:

http://www.tismana.ro/editura/html/viorel_darie.html

His site:
http://agonia.ro/index.php/author/00357 ... el%20Darie

Years ago, many years, I worked also on a CUB-Z.
CUB-Z (based on Z80A processor) was produced by ICE Felix Bucharest:

Followed HC series:

O tempora !

Thank you for reminding me, Maestro Gerd !

Yes !

Friendly Chess 2.0/3.0 (GUI+native engine):

http://www.vioreldarie.ro/Sah/FriendlyChess3.zip

A 2009-2011 project !

The manual is here:

http://www.vioreldarie.ro/Sah/Friendly% ... 202010.htm

Unfortunately the manual is only in Romanian. Yes, again, ing. Viorel Darie is a good professional and a chess entusiast.

Maybe Mr.Norbert Raimund - Leissner will be kind enough to post this program on Mr. Ron Murawski site !

They are here - in Romania - a lot of sources of various chess engines ( projects of young IT students) but is hard to collect all dates ( they know nothing about CCC  ) ! And generally not very strong chess engines, but originals.

Thank you, again, Maestro Gerd !
