Tom,

The freezes I was experiencing were without "-xboard" and with using Fischer incremental time.

Without "-xboard" djinn freezes with games in Fischer incremental time. With "-xboard" it handles Fischer incremental PROVIDED it is not in milliseconds. With milliseconds, it freezes.

Hey Norm,

Hmm, that might be a real bug in the time management. I'll have to examine that more closely.
The smallest increment I use is 1 sec., so it is possible something is going on.

This is why it's good to have other people bang on the program.

Hi Tom,

made some quick test with 32-bit versions -- it seems that there is no any problems with time management, even with 0.5 s increment.

Geno

Hello Geno,

I'm currently testing a version with a modified time management algorithm. I'm running a 4000 game match against Yace at 3 sec. + 50 ms. So far no time losses.

I'm not going to release anything until I run the full set of regressions.
