Carry on fellas
i am going to refrain from voting from hereon in
there is a good vote count daily so my vote isn't really needed to keep the game going
dont have much time these days to really sink my teeth into the position and i dont like to just throw up a vote for the hell of it
however as promised.. i stand ready to operate the MDC when Nick gets called away and needs me to

Best Regards
Steve

2 votes for Bxd4
1 vote for Nd5
1 vote for Nc2
Well, if Steve is not going to break the tie I will vote for Bxd4.

I suspect that our dark squared bishop could turn out to be of more value than our light squared one, so Nc2 puts the question to the Black knight on d4 (capture now or be captured by our c2 knight).
If Black prefers to swap off knights on c2, that's fine.

After 13.Bxd4, ed; 14.Nd5, Nxd5 I think we have to capture with cd, else we can't play a future f4 without worrying about our e3 square.
Then our position doesn't inspire me with confidence.

There could be similar issues with playing 13.Nd5.

It would be good to hear Steve's thoughts.
I am assuming after 13. Bxd4 ed instead of 14. Nd5 we play 14. Nf5 because if 14...g6 15. Qh6!

though I admit I have not looked at it deeply, just on the computer screen. I do admit the computer might find some funky tactic but if not white looks fine to me.

No promise I will stay, most of my spare time is spent working on the new engine, but I might stop in on the game while waiting for test results and such :).

Well this is hard, there a just too many possible moves... I like the suggestions Nc2, Bxd4 and f4... Even moves like Bc3 are playable to see if Black wants to commit first.

But Bxd4 just smells like a draw after White Nf5 and Qg5 and Black g6.

Nc2 looks like it will be out voted..

Therefore I will also go with f4 which conforms to the original Nh4 plan.

Anybody prepared to break the tie? If not, I'll have to do so, despite not liking either Bxd4 or f4.

Although I don't like having to do it, I'll change to Bxd4 to break the tie.

Our move is 13.Bxd4
