Spark 0.3a is now available from:

http://members.ziggo.nl/allard.siemelink/spark/

- MP support added for all platforms (Windows 32, Windows 64, Mac OSX 64), Linux 64 version will follow later
- bug fixes (eval, occaisional lockups)

Test results on both single and 2 cpu versions of bright/spark to follow.

erm, is it? the one labelled spark 0.3 is now MP i take it (sorry for the dumb question, but i can't test this atm)

at any rate, thanks & looking forward to taking it for a spin.

I am pleasantly surprised by Spark. As example, a move from Rybka which is difficult for most engines.

Yes, most engines are reluctant to move king side pawns. Especially that's the space where king is castled.

Smarter ones begin to see that pushing up king side pawns actually assists in attack.

Next release is gonna be "Advancement of a/b/c pawns" - It's little easier I hope. Most engines push up the Queen side pawns on other wing.

Thanks. - Do you have a Spark 0.3 result for comparison, from the same conditions (except single/dual)?
