Cheers,
Graham.
I'm aware, but I have high hopes that the next 19 moves will be interesting ones.
Yep - the crucial stage of the game. :P

I played a full game in forum team against my engine.
You've got to be cold-blooded to do that against your own engine.

I have never played this before. Takes some getting used to seeing all the pieces out of whack! :)

Nf3 for me too please

So far, that's five votes for 2.Nf3 and one vote for 2.b3.

I'll allow another 11-12 hours before telling Ray our move.

I'll vote for 2.Nf3 also.

By the way Aaron, Ray wants me to let you know that Daydreamer 1.61 has played 500 FRC games so far without any problems.

That's great news, I really appreciate the help you both gave me in bug hunting.

Matthias.
Nick and i have co-ordinated which dedicated computer will be taking over the game after move 20
so our move choices now just might be in with that in mind
:P

now thats Cold-Blooded Regards
Steve

P.S. do you think we ought to keep the name of the dedicated a secret like last game?
if so then i think Nick should get a message over to Ray with the name of the unit before it starts making moves
