I think I found why we can't play Bxf4.

I'll change to 36......Rb6 because I think that either Rc6 or Rc8 could be awkward responses to Kf6.
Rb6 prepares Kf6.
Graham,

I don't think we have to worry about Rc6 or Rc8, after g5 fxg5 Kxg5 our chances are almost the same as 36... Rb6.

I'll vote for 37.....e5 too.
I originally thought there was a nasty in that line, but after studying the various possibilities, it seems that we're fine.

e5 is an immediate draw after fxe5 Bxe5/ Nc6

I suggest Rb6, to we can play e5 or g5 and retake with the King, with a littel advantage.
