Marc was a chess player of note.... for some of his games:

His current FIDE was 2228, I think I saw.
Fully 14 years younger than myself.... sad to learn of this.

It's not the same Marc Lacrosse, the one you pointed still living and is not a computer chess specialist ...

This is definitely a big loss. Marc was a pleasure to talk with, he gave me some great ideas and was always very helpful.

I stand corrected. I knew there were two by the same name, but
did'nt bother checking, I thought surely it could not be that much of
a coincidence that they both were chess players.
