Not everyone btw.
But if one really wants to find it, he will. And beside Ippolit he will probably also find some other software for download... You know what I mean? I am sure this is not what we want...
DomLeste wrote:Same as Dann if you cant use google to search these engines, then what the heck do you need a poll to approve the link here? Only reason is to massage your ego. Stop wasting your time posting here and spend your time searching for these clones then. Get off your lazy butt and Google it. Or do you like to be spoonfed like a baby?
Stop talking about impeachment did you get your law degree from a online course?
I really hope the moderation team will stand bold to its decision despite the outcome of the poll.
Though the can of worms is already open, CCC imho should not support those 'guys' by allowing direct links.

Joerg.
Agreed.
So far you both are a minority
Perhaps, but I notice that those supporting it are in a minority when it comes to posting their support.
Allowing the hackers, crackers and cloners plus their supporters to take over CCC should not be permitted under any circumstances. Their is already a forum elsewhere set up for them, and don't forget, you're their hero at present.

I don't want to attack the mods. I don't know what happens behind the curtains, and so I don't say your decission is right or wrong (from your point of view)
Most don't care. I am one of 'em. However, Vas claimed this program is a clone. Until something more convincing comes along, I believe we have to defer to him as the Rybka "authority". Polls don't mean a thing done as you are doing them. A valid poll needs a random sample. Just advertising only attracts those that are really interested in the poll and the outcome. I did not vote, for example. So a 75-25% split does nothing to suggest that 75% of the members want to see IPPOLIT links posted again. It means that 75% of the people participating want to see this. 75% of those participating, has absolutely nothing to do with the CCC membership in total. And it is why these polls are really not very useful at all.
start a poll "Did the US land on the moon in 1969?" and the majority will likely say "no". Because only the kooks and nuts will respond, the rest of us would ignore such a pointless question.
