You can most likely assume Gerold also.

Yes that's right. I think I'll make the move. The chances of 4 votes coming in all for another different move are remote, and Gerold pretty much signalled his intent. So, I'll take the forum move as Qh8+

BL indeed responded with the only legal move Kf7, then I made the next forum move Qh7+

[d] Rb1qr3/1R1n1k1Q/1p1r2p1/2pN4/2P1Ppp1/7P/6P1/6K1 b - -

we wait for BigLion now

Nice showing for White.
Thanks to the forum for the strong moves. Had to
be away all day.

Best,
Gerold.

The forum's turn to move
41.Qh8+

BL has only one legal move
41..Kf7

then 42.Qh7+

But what happened to Rxb8?

It's coming now. Let's recommend another conditional move.

Raxb8 if Nxb8 then Qf7+ and this is over.

In fact there is this that all looks forced somewhat......

Raxb8 Nxb8 Qf7+ Ke5 Qxf4+ Kd4 e5+

3 conditional moves.
