I would like to just chime in...it has been a while since I've been here on these forums this game vs. H8 forums has inspired me. While I might not be able to vote everyday on moves, I will be sure that if I do vote I will have some explanation with it as I am a very weak player and rely much on computer assisstance.

my vote is for Nf6. To which I believe white's best response would be Bd3.

Nf6 maybe just Bd3, what about Bc5? in this systems sometimes the g knight goes to e7 and later g6. the problem with Bc5 should be something like Qg4. And d6 looks pasive but how could we complicate this position?

I think our best chance to compensate is via Nf6, though a6 may objectively be better, atleast more solid.

5.-, Bc5 - how about a reply like 6. Be3? The threat is 7. Nxe6, so the bishop have to move again, probably back to f8 (with no developement), or capture on d4 after which we have a problem on g7 and no developement except Bb7.
I don't see that Black has time for the g6-Bg7 manouvre, White plays on with the Ndb7 plan.

Thanks all it takes is time I suppose. I did not see a6 before. It is very easy to get lost in all the variations However I must retire for the night.

If Nf6 is Bg5 a troublesome move?, maybe not because Qa5. I am thinking if Bc5 Be3, Qb6, if Na4 Qa5 +

I'm not saying black is winning (yet), but if there is no real good plan, then I would vote .....a6 as a regretale necesity, and is slow, but so are other things.

Maybe an earlier move was wrong. Maybe the missing pawn was anyway wrong.

Perhaps there should have been extensive analysis before the first black move. (this could be done eg by rybka, and by trying a move or two and analyzing from that point, in different variations so that the computer is analyzing from closer up [ie advanced chess]).

Earlier move - Bb7 seems kind of obvious. I think Nf6 instead of c5 was proposed.

It was, but was outvoted.
And now it's past, and Black is far from beaten.

I favour Nf6 with a slight marging over a6 here. Other moves I don't like so far.
