Hi
Surely the moderators should have moved all the Rybka coding posts to the 'Programming & Technical Discussions' forum?
I've tried to follow the discussion but it's a little too technical at times with chunks of code being printed and the ins and outs of imaginary law suits being shouted about.
Yes I think it's time for all this to be moved to the other forum.

are we waiting for Vas to answer any questions?
are we waiting for more questions to be formulated?
or has the whole thing just fizzled out ?
Stumped Regards

I think that the accusers are wanting Vas to answer the questions they've asked to date, but Vas has said he'll wait until they've finished all their analysis before responding. That is if the expected apology from the accusers is not made instead.Steve B wrote:personally i am a bit lost as to where this all stands at this pointGraham Banks wrote:Agreed.mephisto wrote:Hi

Vas is expecting an apology or you are just adding your commentary?Graham Banks wrote:I think that the accusers are wanting Vas to answer the questions they've asked to date, but Vas has said he'll wait until they've finished all their analysis before responding. Trying to get up to speed here ..there are just too many posts to follow in a coherent fashion..unless one is watching this hour by hour
it seems to me the meat and potatoes of this has peeled away and all the rest is noise and verbal gymnastics
is that about right?

From what I've read, Vas expects that an apology will be forthcoming once they've completed their investigations.Steve B wrote:Vas is expecting an apology or you are just adding your commentary?Graham Banks wrote:I think that the accusers are wanting Vas to answer the questions they've asked to date, but Vas has said he'll wait until they've finished all their analysis before responding. If you think you found something, is there any particular reason you do not ask Vas himself or post in his forum, as invited? It would seem to be eminently more logical to simply ask the man himself, than ask 200 people who did NOT write Rybka, or ask someone to forward your questions, no? Registration at the Rybka forums is as painless as here.Albert

CW said he sent it a couple days ago, but no response as of yet. And for the record, I am registered at the Rybka forum, and I (in addition to several other people) have voiced some concerns. No response, except one "Rybka is 100% original".
Chris Whittington wrote:
Yes, I sent it and yes he has responded.
He says he is going to wait for some sort of formal statement as it seems this is in the works. Maybe, he says, at the end they'll just retract everything and apologise.

Too many posts to read, I think I have missed this one.
So somebody has asked for an apology?
Please give us some time to prepare one.
Thank you in advance.

Are you jealous that all the Rybka threads are getting the attention? I prefer to see it here..Oh no, I can see another poll in the future.

from Chris Whittington's post that I quoted, it appears as though Vas is not sure whether he's going to get a whole lot of questions to answer or an apology instead.
So it doesn't look as though he's actually 'asked' for an apology.
Sorry to recall wrongly,
Graham.
