Greetings Daniel,
I just want to report a bug in Scorpio 2.0.
When running Scorpio 2.0 with 4 threads, it will ponder on the opponents time. This bug does not exist in Scorpio 1.91 when running with 4 threads.
Keep up the good work!
Best regards,
Martin

Maybe a moderator could move this thread to the programming forum?
I might belong there, not here.

You might prefer to use the report button for requests like this. A PM would also work, but then you would need to choose which mod to send it to.Martin T wrote:Maybe a moderator could move this thread to the programming forum?

Anyhow, I personally think your bug report is better in the general area, because it will affect testers as well as the programmer.

Hi Martin, I don't know if Daniel Shawul reads CCC or not. I know for sure he reads the winboard forum http://wbforum.vpittlik.org/index.phpMartin T wrote:Greetings Daniel,

Hi,
Scorpio 2 does not think, but it retains one of the processors while his opponent plays.
Thus, it can't play against another MP engine on the same machine. (Like Crafty.)

I didn't retain one of the processors, it retained two of the processors (of four).Gregory Owett wrote:Hi,

I'm sad to hear that it isn't a bug... I was really looking forward to include it in the CCRL list!
Anyway, thanks for the clarification.

Martin
