Naum 4.6 - DrawContemptScore & MaterialImportance

Post by reflectionofpower » Sun Sep 28, 2014 8:36 pm

Most importantly these 2

1) DrawContemptScore

2) MaterialImportance

Does plus on the contempt setting mean less of a draw?

On MaterialImportance

Does plus/minus mean it'll sacrifice more?

I'd actually would like to see what the others are about too.

I found this Naum FAQ in the Internet Archive. It looks like it might answer your questions.

Naum.cft should be just a plain old text file. Open up notepad or whatever editor u use and then put in appropriate parameters for Naum as stated in its help section from James above us and save as Naum.cft

I think you meant Naum.cfg?

Also, the free Naum 2.0 download from Superchessengine.com has a Naum.cfg file. Although it only has about six commands in the file, you could add more commands as needed.
