This version has been out since November- Pedro would know it has not been listed in Leo's or wiki for over a month and has said nothing- the download was not from Pedro's site. I believe this is one I would leave alone, or at least check with Pedro first to get some kind of ok.

Friendly advice-

Then it is as simple as 1+1=2. It is not a public release- if he gave it to a few selected people to test- and did not make a public notice. That is a fact.

Lastly, I am not the best tester out there- but I am as good as the best. If Pedro wanted me to test it- I have to assume he would have contacted me. So if he doesn't care- neither do I. I have bigger fish to fry.

Hi George,

here is the Danasah homepage, noting the release at the time. The Danasah homepage is publicly accessible.

So now we have to scour each author's homepage on the chance something new is there. Publicly accessible site=public release??? Your statement doesn't pass the smell test.

Nothing fishy or smelly about the Danasah 5.00 release at all that I can see.

I'm pretty sure that that Leo and Ron find much of their information by scouring the engine homepages.
I doubt that every engine author automatically informs them upon each new release of their engine.

Pedro would have informed me only because I was due to start a tournament with Danasah in it at the time.

1.-Y_E_S ! At least sometimes ! A bit of gym at our ages is good !
2.-Maestro Georges, https://github.com/ domain is full of chess engines sources. Without a fantastic good computer chess detective like Mr. Norbert Raimund Leisner and the incredible good person in compiling- Maestro Jim Ablett - a lot of chess engines rested unknown to CC afficionados. Most of their authors know nothing about CCC , Computer-Chess Wiki, WBEC-Ridderkerk and about the goodest tester in Milky Way. Any invitation to download , to compile, to use..........what a shame !
3.-Muted nose, for sure !
