Hello Richard

thanks a lot for thin new version.
It is verry nice that you are still developing this great engine!
Do you have any "idea" if it is stronger than Critter 1.01?
Any results?

best regards, Clemens

Hello Richard

thanks a lot for thin new version.

I noticed a problem with endings.
I have used the engine to analyze the finals, but this time he remains silent.
Do I have the gabiota gtb?

Thanks

Hi Richard,

thanks for your new version.

Most questions since I started SWCR comes to Critter. It seems that the vistors which try out your engine have many fun with Critter. I wrote a longer news in the time SWCR champions-league are still running to Critter. This one the most like and sent me many test results.

Perhaps with Stockfish is Critter the most popular chess engine so far with a very nice playing style.

Congratulation!

Best
Frank

51 mails to Critter and not one of this mails with a negative comment :-) Most of this mails with analyzes to short SWCR win games. 4 comes to Rybka for an example ... all of this four to the Exp. settings :-)

I look in detail ...

51 to Critter
34 to Stockfish
22 to Twisted / Hannibal
18 to Doch / Komodo
18 to Junior
16 to Spark (unfortunately, most with questions to 0.5 ... this version are not freely available).

Latest place for Fritz ... one mail why I stop the test vs. actual engines. 4 to Rybka ... the commercial are not very popular ... only Junior and Hiarcs seems popular. Most mails to Shredder comes with questions to the GUI.

The TOP-6 ... means I got mails with different questions, most to configurations. 20 of the Critter mails from users which have problems with Gaviota tablebases (older Critter version, I believe 0.8 or 0.9). But also the most with clearly comments ... I like Critter.
