You can find the Hannibal books here:

I would gladly appreciate the games that the book has played so I can better that book for the public.

Thanks,

Thank you!

The big book will have more lines and depth than the small, so using that would be better of course :)

Hello I like your program very much and downloaded version 1a and the new book, but I cannot get the book to engage using Arena. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Gerald

Hi Gerald,

Put the opening book in the same folder as the engine. Then in Arena try Ctrl+1 or Ctrl+2 depending if its Engine 1 or Engine 2. This will show the configurable UCI parameters of the engine. Set the name of the book accordingly under "Book File".

Also make sure that UCI engines are set to use their own books. To do this when in Arena press F11, under UCI tick the "Engines use their own book" check box.

Thanks for your help. I put the Big Book in the engine folder, but forgot to change the name in the UCI setup.
Works perfectly now.
Thanks,
Gerald
