Interview with Allard Siemelink ... new v. of Bright / Spark

Post by Frank Quisinsky »

Hi there,

now part 3 is ready (third interview with a TOP 20 chess programmer).

An interview with Allard Siemelink (Bright, Spark) can be found under:

SCHACHWELT:
http://www.schach-welt.de/index.php?opt ... &Itemid=99

On the end of the interview you can find information about new official versions of Bright and Spark. I think the programmer will upload the files in the evening.

The interview is in English language (I think I have to make some corrections, I will do it tomorrow). I added the questions in German too.

Have fun !!

Best
Frank

Hi,

I translated the german questions in "my" English. I think different mistakes are in the translation (I gave my best).

It would be great if readers can send me corrections by mail.
Hope I can ask here ... the big problem I have all the years.

Best
Frank

Great interview, many thanks Frank and Allard. I was interested in the new MP 0.3a coming, I went to site and downloaded 0.3 just to test, I look forwards to 0.3a MP later. Out of interest, I did "uci" and "go depth 20" on Spark 0.3 but it only reports bestmove for "info depth 17" so it looks like the real depth -3 for some reason? Bug?
