A new Jumbo version 0.3.8 is available here. Yesterday's HGM blitz tourney has been quite productive since I could fix a couple of bugs afterwards.
I now also provide a faster 64-bit build (but Jumbo currently is not a bitboard engine so the benefit is limited) made with CygWin gcc 5.4.0 which unfortunately requires three CygWin DLLs, see the link above for a list. I could optimize away one of these in a later version since I think I do not use exception handling but requiring the other two will survive most probably.

Hi Sven,
If Jumbo is compiled with Cygwin can you provide a Linux binary?

Re: Jumbo 0.3.8
I guess I can't since I would need a Linux system for that? Or is there a Linux crosscompiler available with Cygwin GCC?thunderstruck wrote:Hi Sven,

Hi Sven,
When I read that you used the Cygwin compiler to make the windows binaries I 'imagined' you were on Linux.
It seems possible with a cross-compiler in Windows to make linux binaries. See this link(http://metamod-p.sourceforge.net/cross- ... linux.html)

If you're using Windows 10, you could look up "Windows Subsystem for Linux". That would get you a GNU userspace, at the very least.
