Yesterday I got an e-mail from a chess friend who has found a small bug in Chest -
it happens quite rarely and only under very special circumstances.
Many thanks to Heiner Marxen who found and fixed this bug very quickly -
it was in the module 'fac.c' and and you can find a short description on his homepage: http://www.drb.insel.de/~heiner/Chess/chest.html
I've also fixed WinChest.exe and released a new ChestUCI version 5.2: http://fhub.110mb.com/
Let's hope that this was the last bug for a long time ...

Since Chest is the neatest thing since sliced bread, and since ChestUCI is delicious grape jelly on the bread, now all I need is a hot cup of coffee!

That is extremely improbable. The bug is tightly coupled with the very unusual board data structure of Chest.
Heiner, I really wonder that (with the current clonemania) nobody has yet cloned your Chest?
Well, maybe the code is just too complicated for anyone to understand ...
