Hm, maybe with the Wasp in Logo the Norwegian Airline BusyBee (charter) today are up to date in business. I have 13 of the 14 machines from Busy Bee in my homemade DIA collection.

Sorry for my message. But that is my big hobby number 1 and if I am reading Wasp I must thinking on BusyBee at first.

Thanks Frank & John,

Played the 1st Game of a 200 Game Match with ProDeo 2.2 (Speculative Move
Principle) Time Control 10 minutes.

Reached move 30 where Wasp played a nice exchange sac.

This is the last game I am posting of this match. It was one hell of a draw due to lack of time. I am impressed with the improvements to 1.25

Thanks Ted,

I will replay your games later this day. If you have more ... feel free!

Between the two test-runs "The Fight for Place 1" Wasp 1.25 BMI2 x64 will be play vs. 49 opponents in my list. I will directly test the main program available on my site and will see it too. Changes Looks intereting, John worked hard in the last months ... sure after his changes.

Best

Hi Ruxy,

I saw that directly in tournament selection here (your bigger thread). Looking often in your messages.

Vs. Onno the older version do a better job.
:-(

Now 2.020 45-minutes games on i7 4.0 Ghz played and Wasp 1.25 have around +40 Elo. Much problems you can see vs. Murka, Quazar ... vs. Stockfish and Houdini ... if you are looking in the games often big troubles vs. Fizbo and I saw two bad games at last vs. Hakkapeliittta.

Fizbo is really a great sparing partner for all other programmers. Engine is very aggressive in the beginning and such things are good for each programmer to find mistakes in here own.

http://www.amateurschach.de/ftptrigger/ ... 2-x64.html

All in all the results vs. the 49 opponents are very stable. After my first impression is the endgame much better. The changes John do are good to see in my opinion.

I am very very happy with Wasp and John give us his engine for testing. One of the dinos in programming with a lot of experience. I am sure Wasp go higher from version to version and maybe a TOP-20 place is possible in the near future.

The Problem in testing engines is ... you need a lot of results vs. completly other engines in playing style. Often I am thinking 49 are not enough.

But such results you gave here are important and all the time good for the mosaic in combination with the results by all others. I like the match constellations you start often in testing.

Have fun in testing engines!
So many nice material today is available!

A paradise!

Best for you and thanks for testing!
