On our latest ratinglist we can present four new entrants. First out is
Komodo 9.1, the new leader on our list with a very strong rating of 3361
after 947 games! Komodo 9.1 is 92 points ahead of its former 7.0-version, a
mighty rating-increase by the team of Mark Lefler and Larry Kaufman.

We can also present the latest engine from Robert Hyatt - Crafty 25.0. It is
still early on in the testing, but after 170 games it has reached a respectable
rating of 3025. More games will be played though.

The third new entrant on the list is Pro Deo 2.0, also called Rebel 13.0 by
Ed Schroeder. We have tested Pro Deo 2.0 on our A1200-level and after the first
213 games its rating is 2787. This is 24 points ahead of the 1.86 version, but
it is still trailing the 1.82 version by 5 points. It will be interesting to
see which Pro Deo-version will come out on top when more games are played.

Last, but not definately least, is the strongest dedicated chess computer we
have tested so far - the Revelation II Hiarcs 14.1. The combination of Mark
Uniacke's latest Hiarcs program with Ruud Martin/DGT's awesome chesscomputer,
the Revelation II, is a match made in heaven for dedicated chesscomputerfans.
Its rating of 2929 after 128 manually played games are an amazing 156 points
ahead of the former king - the Revelation I Hiarcs 13.3!

For our next list, we will present one more manually tested computer,
the Mephisto Nigel Short, which we never had the chance of testing back in
the golden age of dedicated chesscomputers. It is very soon over the
necessary 100 games and will be guaranteed for the next list. We are also
testing the Revelation I Deep Sjeng 3.0 and the newly released Millenium
ChessGenius, but with 67 and 30 games, it isn't entirely sure if we will
have enough games when the next list is out.
