Rodin v8.0 released

Post by Kempelen »

Hi,

I have released Rodin v8.0 It can be downloaded from https://sites.google.com/site/clonfsp/r ... ess-engine

It is stronger than v7.0. The Elo gain will depend on time control, but maybe around 50 or more ELO points.

There are many features, but most important ones are:

- A more accurate and tuned eval function.
- Improvements in some search parts.
- Learning.
- Own magics.
- Bug fixes.
- Personalities.

Note that I have not programmed Rodin for ultrafast games ( < 10 secs), in fact I suspect there should not be any signficant elo gain playing so.

Hope you find it enjoyable.

Best regards,
Fermin

According to my last test tournament, it should be around > 40 ELO stronger than v7.0 in fast test time controls. I hope anyway to perform better in slow time controls, as I have that feeling. Not much, as I have been coding many other things other than those that give elo :)

Code: Select all
