Not bad for a 14-year-old boy, but I think that even a Frenchman can not play the French. :)

I think Vincent posted that game on purpose, to deride humans...:)

Even playing unambitiously, white should stay with a definite advantage in the French.

For example, reaching the theoretical position at move 10:

[d]rnbq1rk1/1p2nppp/p2b4/3p4/3N4/1N1B4/PPP2PPP/R1BQ1RK1 b - - 7 10

I do not believe white has just 17cps advantage, as SF thinks, but at least a bit more. A central d4/e4 isolated pawn is due much more penalty, especially when blocked as in this case by Nd4.

Thanks Lyudmil but you overestimate my positional understanding !
I posted this game because it have a high historical value. There were only few games between computers and strong humans at this time (and even less few computers wins over strong humans).

Curiously, antipositional opening or not, I think Rybka started to play the French (when not following book moves) when it got singular extensions. At least I think there might be a connection with SE because this line has a lot of forced moves. Anyway, this is what my slightly modified Stockfish now wants to play from the start position, Tarrasch variation and all, against itself
