On their website they have several chess engines published since 2004. Their latest one is Treebeard. It's probably the one embedded in their "Free Chess" app...

And as for the guilty one responsible for the chess engine, his name is probably Jeff Rollason, here described on their webpage :
Jeff Rollason - CEO and Founder
Jeff has been involved in the games industry since 1981 and provides the AI core for the bulk of the engines. His background of 17 years lecturing in Computer Science at Kings College, London, and record of entering 15 Computer World Championships in Chess and Shogi (in 2 years ranking world #3), provides a solid basis for creating game engine AI. Added to this Jeff also coordinates all of AI Factory's activities and oversees all project work.
He still publishes, referees and presents papers in academia, but is now a full time committed member of the games industry.

His entry on the Chess Programming Wiki :

And Treebeard's entry:
https://chessprogramming.wikispaces.com/Treebeard
Treebeard,
a multi-platform, commercial chess program developed by Jeff Rollason, supported by Didzis Cirulis. Treebeard, an AI Factory product, applies a complex Swapping Off Material Analyzer (SOMA) of the whole board, also considering pins and ties to defend against captures, forks and even mate threats, similar as descibed in Rollason's SUPER-SOMA approach for Shogi [1], which guides a probability-based tree search. Treebeard comes with an optional 3D Board as version of Chess for the PC, and is currently the chess engine used by Microsoft for their MSN Chess [2] [3].

Thanks Julien!
Now I understand this program, which sometimes do very sharp moves and sometimes looks like a 1500 player at most. One way or another is a hard bone to bite.....I am just just trying to get a place to download the Pc version...

You're welcome. :)

Yes, judging by the wiki, it uses very unusual algorithms!

Cstal IS IMO the better Choice.

Carefull, this is not our friend Chris Whittington's Chess System Tal, but their own "Chess Tal", which appears to be a different program than CSTal. I had actually never heard of it :)

Nonsense. Ai factories Cstal is the download version of CSTAL. Tree beard plays strange, and has some very strange ideas about what chess players need and what not. It would be more interesting IMO to see CSTAL beeing transformed as android app.

It appears you are right (such things happen ;) ) :
Chess System Tal II was further marketed by Ubisoft [1] and continued by Jeff Rollason's AI Factory [2] [3], who now own the rights on the CSTal sources [4].

EDIT: oh, and I just saw you operated CSTal in some tournaments, so you definitely know what you're saying.

I found programs to make android to operate inside windows and I did tried to install one, but I saw problems beginning to lurk and I stampeded. Some advice about that? I like the idea to have some android apps in my big comps...
