Tigran chess engine

Post by carldaman »

I downloaded versions 2.3 and 2.4n earlier in the year, but I can't remember from what site. Is there a website for this engine? Does anyone know who the author is ?

Tigran is not listed anywhere, except on the CCRL 40/40 list where v2.4 has an established rating of 2395 (impressive for such an obscure engine).

Thanks to Graham and SilvianR for the information. Just made the cpw pages and recognized the apparently Spanish engine Tigran which played the
4th Spanish Open Computer Chess Championship 1996. Does anybody know the author of the Spanish Tigran?

Thanks,
Gerd

Thanks, Graham. Web searches don't work as well as they did 10+ years ago.
