Video: DGT board and modern pieces

Post by sje »

Long but amusing, an advertisement of a sort:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7C0zw3YTk-Q

At two minutes in: "These bishops are sneaky little bastards."

And later: "The rook is like a Russian tank. It moves slowly but crushes everything in its path."

_No one can hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you can hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward….

The narrator has over 400 videos on YouTube, but the above was the funniest I've seen so far. Notice in the last few seconds how he succumbs to profanity and gives Fritz the single finger salute.

There are a few more choice tidbits on his site selling the featured set: http://www.bestchessmenever.com/

Some of the sets have an official church blessing at no extra charge: http://www.bestchessmenever.com/blog/fi ... essed.html
