EXchess v6.50 released

Post by dchoman »

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let you know I released a new version of EXchess...

http://personal.denison.edu/~homand/EXchess.htm

v6.50 adds some play improvements and the ability to play Chess960, although I have only tested Chess960 under Xboard.

Enjoy!

Not only a nice updated version, but a NEW LOGO, and one of the best I have ever seen. I feel like it is Christmas!. Thanks Dan.

Neat I dedicated a core to this engine for my test :) Will be neat to add it to the daily tournaments.

Hi Josh,

Thanks for running it! I saw your message about your server and meant to pm you for an account. I think having a dedicated server running tournaments for testing is a fun idea! Unfortunately, I am extremely busy right now, so I don't think I'll have much time to work on EXchess in the next few months.

Many thanks Daniel.

Just for the record, the 64 bit linux version works fine on fedora17, and the compilation worked perfectly following the instructions from readme.txt
