I saw "Chess Academy 7" on a friend's computer and was amazed on the amount of information in its tutor modul.
A basic search showed that the official web site is at http://www.chessacademy.de/. The latest one is 7 from 2004. The versions go like "Chess Academy Tutorial Program & Game Editor 1.3 (DOS) " from 1996 (the demo looks very nice), Chess Academy 3.0 (16-bit), Chess Academy 98, 99, 2000 and finally 7.
One can spend years working with this software. Can anybody shed more light into the history of this great but underappreciated software?
