Post by David Dahlem »

"Chess Query Language (CQL) was designed to allow researchers, authors, and players to search for games, problems, and studies that match specific themes."

Yes,i have VisualCQL also. Very simple to use. I'm just learning how to use this tool. Do you know if there are any other cql scripts available other than the scripts that come with the program?

I found this video about CQL -

CQL is great for searching huge databases such as my Endgame Study Database IV - by Harold Heijden, 76132 endgames studies.

VisualCQL and some other information you can find here
http://www.vlasak.biz/vcql.htm

CQL is not easy and the CQL community is very small world-wide.
About 15 users.
You should registrate for free to use VisualCQL and I will add you to the list.
