Re: LittleBlitzer 2.4 Released
Thx a lot .
just a little question: does the epd-file is read sequential or do you pick a position by random(preferable) ? I was not able to check that out because the pgnfile only stores the results (not the moves).
ah, before i forget it: a little bit confusing is the _num_total_rounds_ setting in the tournament setting window. In fact you may rename
it into games_to_play, or better make sure in gauntlet mode you loop the opponents n-times and rr-mode you really play n-"rounds"
Great tool!

Its sequential... will add a random option sometime. I will also enhance the PGN output a bit. Thanks for the feedback.Desperado wrote:Thx a lot .

Hello Nathan,
just one littleThought. Maybe you can put the following links to your
readme file.
Remi Coulums site:
http://remi.coulom.free.fr/
- bayesian elo rating tool (of course )
- pgn2epd converter !! (very useful as long as the pgn option in your tool
is not available)
Frank Quisinskys site:
http://www.amateurschach.de/master-pgn/ ... tation.htm
- the development files package includes epd files with more than 5000 opening positions (about 1000 / Eco) i think.
somehow pre-tested by stockfish and considered to be balanced positions. At least worth a look
Sth. else to round it up ? Let us know...
regards Michael
