Some people have asked me whether it would be Ok to test Rybka in STS as they have doubts about its suitability. They have some general misconception that STS is based on long hour analysis of Rybka alone.
In reality, it's based on analysis from multiple engines. (Could be Naum, Rybka,Zappa, Ivanhoe, Stockfish)
1. I used to use Rybka to do quick preliminary test to see whether the particular position is qualified to belong in the list (of 200 positions)
2. The list of 200+ is to be sent to Dann Corbit (who in turn would use multiple engines ranging from, to the best of my understanding, Zappa, Naum, Ivanhoe, Stockfish, Rybka etc to see how many positions from the list 200 are qualified for the final list of 100)
So it's not solely Rybka's analysis that contribute to this suite.

I have updated the site in hope that it would clear the misconception.I should clarify that it is not 5 hours per each engine, but five engines at one hour.
I was using more engines than I am using now. I have shifted strategy to use fewer engines, but to also run Stockfish and Rybka using Multi-pv to collect as many useful alternatives as possible.
