All engines 1 CPU
Arena 2.0.1 GUI
128 Hash Tables
3-4-5 EGTBs
Ponder off
Book GrandPQRS PGN up to 8 moves (151.315 starting positions from years 1981-2009, games selected by Norm Pollock), each pair plays the same position with switched colours.
40 moves in 25 minutes repeating (adapted to the CCRL 40/40 standard)

Is interesting how LittleThought gets easily depths up to 20 plies in the middlegame, after a very agressive prunning, I suppose. Sometimes works, sometimes not ... a good performance anyway.

Yes it is pretty aggressive, I guess that makes it better at short time controls than longer ones. A result of my testing methods I suppose.

Well, you have a wide margin to soften the prunning, actually LittleThough is almost doubling the depths reached by the other engines around 2500-2600 ELO points.
Thanks for you engine, Nathan, and go ahead improving it!!

LittleThought climbs up to position 75 from position 120 with the 1.052 64-bit version , showing an improvement of 159 ELO points regarding the 1.03 32-bit version (now 2602 in CCRL 40/40 1CPU), only 3 ELO points behind NanoSzachy and 10 ELO points ahead Trace.

I'm seriously above Trace now??? Does that put me at #1 Australian engine? Sorry Ross :)
