Comments:
Important! This tournament will start after the current Cutting Edge II tournament is finished.
Welcome to the first Team Tournament in the Cutting Edge series!
6 teams will battle it out against each other in a double round robin type
event meaning that each team plays the others two times, one time with
each color.

The teams has been composed by using the CEGT/CCRL lists by ELO with
a little randomizer tossed in. Should be fairly equal, but with just a few
games played for each engine anything can happen. The points each team
gathers in each round will ultimately decide which team will win.

Tie-break rules in case of equal points between the leaders:

1: Team wins
2: Direct match result
3: Most wins with black

A little info about the engines. Deep Fritz 12 will make it's debut in my
tournaments. All engines has been properly tested first with fast time
controls with the exact settings being used here before starting this
tournament.

Even so if any engine should fail even after the initial testing,
they will be replaced, which may alter the team composition slightly.
In that case a similar strength engine will replace the ones not able to
participate so that each team should maintain their strength not
rendering the poll unvalid.

So please, vote in the poll!
The poll will run for one week. I should be able to start the tournament around that time.

Note that this is a long time control event with ponder on, using the same
conditions as my previous Cutting Edge tournaments. So this event will
last for some time. I will update most likely once per day, or at minimum
after each round providing full pgn's.

If there is anything I have forgot to write that you feel you need an answer to, feel free to ask!

Interesting tournament. Will follow the tournament updates more closely. Keep up the good work.

I voted for Green team mainly because Spark is in there.

But I'm betting on Olive team.

Olive is my first pick, but I think Red will be the biggest threat to them. 8-)

I think you should also add a "Black" team of all the controversial engines:

Ivanhoe
Iggorit
Robbolito
Firebird
etc.

(Dear trolls, lurkers, and mud flingers...this is an attempt to be funny.)

An I kind of missed your last point there, it was funny now that I read it that way.

The TC for this tournament will be changed to 90 + 15 instead of the one given in the original post.

This sounds like fun! I've voted for the Red team, it seems that the strength of Rybka might not be a factor in these conditions.
