The game is past the chess960 stage, one side has castled and the other has made a king move, so now normal chess rules apply. So if you were wary of the chess960 bit, you don't need to be

Graham, you mean, it is making sense, expecting, that a forum could by nature, based on fair play and legal behavior, play a game of chess? If over 70% have no shame in using progs out of darker, unclear, even perhaps criminal ancestry? White has used two program so far and is a little ahead
of the Black team. The highest rated player in the game
is rated higher than the programs that have been played.

On the other hand there would be a smaller number who would use them regardless.
Asking people contributing to a team game of FRC without using computer assistance is a request that you would hope they'd respect, but there is always the likelihood that somebody won't. Nothing that you can do about that, so no point worrying.
