Hamsters 0.7 released

Post by Alessandro Scotti »

Hi guys,
Hamsters 0.7 is out and available for Windows:

http://www.ascotti.org/programming/chess/hamsters.htm

Nothing special about it, as I've little to no time to work on the engine anymore. The strength is just slightly increased and there is support for multiple threads, possibly the playing style is a bit more interesting.
Hope you enjoy it anyway!

Thanks Swami, same old news... been working a lot and spending time with my family. As I work many hours every day with computers I've been favoring other hobbies in the past months, mostly music. I'd like to add some basic knowledge to Hamsters though, maybe during the Christmas holidays who knows?!! :?

Hi Dann,
no there is no 64 bit version but I don't think the engine will benefit much from that. If you want to give a shot at it though, just mail me and I'll send you the sources.
