M1 Max 8+2 (P+E) 10
M2 Max 8+4 (P+E) 12
M3 Max 12+4 (P+E) 16

projection:

M4 Max 14+4/6 (P+E) 18/20
M5 Max 20+4 (P+E) 24

Or is it linear growth, +2|4? ;)

M5 ULTRA is more interesting.
We would have at least 48 CPU cores with ultra fusion.
We will have more without ultra fusion, at least 50.
But Apple has plans to go beyond the magic 50. I think it's fair to expect at least 52 cores.

Beginners:
M4 and M5
MacBook Air
14 and 16 inch

(M4 iPad Pro 16-inch)

Intermediate:
M4 PRO and M4 MAX and M5 PRO and M5 MAX
MacBook Pro
14 and 16 inch

Professionals:
M5 ULTRA
MacBook Ultra
20.5 inch

(M5 ULTRA Mac Studio)

Top-tier professionals:
M5 EXTREME
Mac Pro

Yes :D
But more important:
They don't like to date Android boys. At least most of them.

I guess there are still some morons who overpay for a locked-down, broken-by-design phone or computer just because they think that an attractive girl would give a s**t what tech the boy owns. They simply don’t understand women. Women tend to be attracted to men who display genuine kindness, humor, and intelligence, rather than the tech they carry 😏

Girls like to date Apple boys?

Yes it's very funny

Wtf. -> Apple affirmatively undermines the quality of rival smartphones.
Yes that's crazy, we isn't Apple increasing the quality of rival smartphones?
Yes that's crazy, why the rivals doesn't pay money to Apple to solve their problems?

Wtf. -> For example, if an iPhone user messages a non-iPhone user in Apple Messages.
Why should an iPhone user messages a non-iPhone user???
Why should a non-iPhone user messages an iPhone user???
What happens if one of them or both use WhatsApp?
What happens if one of them or both use one of the other 5000 Apps to communicate?
Wtf. -> iPhone's share is 85 percent.
Soon it will be 100% = problem solved

Wtf. -> This signals to users that rival smartphones are lower quality.
It's because they are lower quality.

Wtf. -> because the experience of messaging friends and family who do not own iPhones is worse.
Not for the iPhone user and that's why we will buy iPhones again.
Of course the experience of messaging, when using rival smartphones, is the only reason why all rivals together have only 15% market share.

Wtf. -> social pressure reinforces switching costs and drives users to continue buying iPhones.
They said the same thing a long time ago when Apple had only 5% market share.
Of course we all buy products because of social pressure and not because they are much better.

Wtf. -> solidifying Apple's smartphone dominance not because Apple has made its smartphone better, but because it has made communicating with other smartphones worse.
If it works, go ahead
I see no problem. If the rivals want something from Apple, they can pay money.
I also see no problem, because the rivals claiming that their devices are better and the reason why they all together have only 15% market share is due to the moon constellation.
I also have some plans to sell some new no name products and make the communication worse to get 85% market share.

Some people in America are using too much drugs...
That's not a Lawsuit, that's a Jokesuit

Apple is essentially doing the same thing Microsoft did to Apple in the '80s. They make it easy for Apple users to take advantage of other systems and the openness embraced by others, but they create obstacles for anyone trying to connect or integrate with their own hardware. This is similar to what Microsoft did by making it hard for Macs to connect to LANs, servers, and domains in the old days.

Creating proprietary products can be seen as anti-competitive because it often leads to the creation of “walled gardens” or “silos” where a company’s products are designed to work only within its own ecosystem. This approach can limit competition in several ways:

Proprietary systems can create high barriers to entry for other companies, especially if the proprietary products become widely adopted. New entrants have to either create compatible products that can be difficult or legally challenging, or they have to convince consumers to switch to an entirely new system.

Once consumers invest in a proprietary ecosystem, they may find it costly or inconvenient to switch to another provider, even if the alternative offers better or cheaper options. This lock-in effect reduces the incentive for the proprietary company to innovate or reduce prices.

Open standards promote interoperability, allowing products from different companies to work together seamlessly. Proprietary products often lack this interoperability, which can stifle innovation and force consumers to choose products based not on quality or price, but on compatibility.

Open standards can drive innovation by allowing different companies to build upon each other’s work. Proprietary systems can stifle innovation by preventing other companies from accessing the technology needed to develop new or improved products.

Open standards can help expand the market by allowing more players to participate, which can lead to more choices for consumers and more opportunities for businesses. Proprietary systems can restrict market growth by limiting who can compete.

while proprietary products can offer companies short-term benefits like market dominance and higher profit margins, they can also hinder competition and innovation in the long run, which can be detrimental to consumers and the overall market

This is off-topic, but it's very noticeable that, on a night out, if you meet a girl (young girls in particular) who have an Apple phone, they'll go to a lot of trouble to "accidentally" ensure that you see that their phone is an Apple phone. You won't be allowed to miss the logo.

Obviously there's no actual benefit to them of doing this, but what do they, even unconsciously, think the benefit is? All I can think of is that girls like to show off.

Btw global culture is with us in the female sex: in certain situations, girls will say exactly the same things using exactly the same words whether they're Asian, African, European or American. My best guess is that it's coming from Netflix (to which I am not a subscriber).
Amen, brother! Nowadays girls are not like they used to be. We live in the age of emptiness and lightness. Girls wear short pants, leaving their calves and thighs in the air, in order to attract male attention. They pervert the use of their tongues, chew gum and look at you with haughty eyes. In my day, things like strength, manliness and virtues were valued. Today's girls value brands, sluttiness and leg-spreading. Not all of them! But the vast majority do. Straight habits, gallantry and manliness are being lost. Unfortunately, the young people of today will not understand what I am saying. I believe in the Blessed Virgin and so does my son. I have given him an impeccable formation, and I look forward to him picking up the baton of tradition and honor.

This conversation is very simply, completely out of touch. I've never, or know anyone who care about what phone someone else use. Apple users use Apple products because they think they're good and/or cool. There's nothing beyond that.

Ipman has benchmark:

28.337.131 Apple M2 Ultra @3.63GHz ddr5 6400 24cores

Similar performance to Ryzen 7700 at 350€. Price of M2  ?

That's because there is no dotprod support when you compile Stockfish 14.1 like you and everybody knows
With dotprod = 28.337.131 x 2 = 56.674.262 like you and everybody knows
