I love HGM tourneys, and when I ran OICS it was hit or miss. So I'm listening to people and putting it back up, purely fresh from HGM sources.
I'm trying to make a new monthly, not to compete with his, but add as a secondary .
While the server will run 24/7 I wont run a 24/6 mamer auto-add bot like I did before.
It was fun, I had a lot of hardware back then, and could host 16+ bots 24/7 but I can't now.
Always looking for advice
I just cloned it, so will take time to get things in order. But hoping for a first tourney this month
IF anyone is intersted in "testing" please email me jshriver@gmail.com with asubject "OICS ACCOUNT" so I can set you up.
This is also not for testing, but if anyone wants an account for the first tourney, like HGM, it's purely manual

Re: OICS new monthly tournament
I do still have a couple nice high end machines. I'm completely discreet and will never share ANY engine someone sends me.
I am TRULY grateful to have previously hosted Nightmare and WaDuuttie. Since it's been 2-3+ years as you can see, I never leak anything.
I don't have a static IP for my hardware (except for the server iteself) all engines run on local cluster. But open to adding what hardware I have with any setup/configuration, even offering ssh access for an account to make specific builds based on hardware. But I figure icsdrone or ssh -X is the best option for remote running on local hardware, but open.
Let me know!

Re: OICS new monthly tournament
My point is, anyone can request and run. If you cannot but want to be included, I do have hardware to spare and will run at you behalf @ your config if you can point me to what you want.
All my cluster is Linux.
Admit it's a lil outdated, but I have a lot ofwhat was nice like 2-3x years ago

I did not understand how it should work: is this the same as HGM's, everyone is running on his own hardware, at a given time? This would be interesting for me, as I said, once a month, as an addition to HGM's one.
I guess we need an account. When do you plan do start?

Ditto here. I'd be very interested, and I can definitely run Myrddin myself like at HG's tournaments.nionita wrote:Hi Josh, jshriver wrote:My point is, anyone can request and run. Many of the particpants in HG's monthly tournament would like a second one. Once you announce an actual date then I think you'll have plenty of people wanting a user account so they can participate.

Re: OICS new monthly tournament
Glad to see the interest
Still setting up the server, and will make sure people have accounts at least a week before it happens. I'll announce it here.
Will do some test runs as well to make sure my mamer build it happy.
