I searched in CCRL 40/40 (where Strelka 5.5 64-bit has a rating of 3250) and I did not find Robbolito! How is it? I wanted to know the rating of each engine, for calculate the probability of each engine of win in this group and post here those probabilities, but Robbo is not there...
If I suppose that RobboLito 0.10 64-bit has the same rating as IvanHoe 46h 64-bit (it is only a supposition) then:
I hope that I copied well each rating; probabilities are rounded up to 0.01% and due to these roundings, the sum of probabilities is 99.99% instead of the correct 100%. I wrote a very short programme in Fortran for doing the calculations; the method is here, in Elo-Rating & Win-Probability section:
This tournament is a huge task! Please have patience and keep up your good work... Thank you very much and have good luck! I stay tuned.

You are correct. RobboLito is not being tested here, so any other rating would not give me anything to rely on. But trust me, it is mixed right in the middle of the other 7. Last match I ran, it beat Stockfish 2.2.2 by a couple games. Very close. I would be floored if there was much diff. between it and IH 46h. But remember, all games are on 1 core.
And just to add this- it won't be one of those deals where you hear nothing from me till it is over. There will be REGULAR updates, especially for any programmers interested- and those like you. It's fun, and it gives exposure to some people who work awful awful hard and a lot of people never hear about. To me- when you can just program an engine that loads and works- you are already a champion in my eyes.

Of course the programmers are the reason this tournament can even take place. But there are 2 special and very important thanks that I don't want to omit- without them this would not be possible.
1. Jim Ablett for his enduring help with a lot of new engines from new programmers who possibly don't quite understand yet what it takes to run properly in some guis. He has had more patience with me than one would think would be possible.
2. CCRL, because without their rating lists there is no possible chance this tournament could be as competitive as it will turn out to be. Each "group inclusion decision" was based on their ratings. A huge "thank-you" to each of you guys.
Just a few more changes- but not something anyone has to concern themselves with. I just caught Greko 9.5 64-bit way up in a group in which it did not belong. It was easy to straighten out, as I made these changes:
Movei moved up one to Group 3.
Red Queen moved up one to Group 4.
Greko 9.5 64-bit dropped from Group 3 to Group 5.
(tho Greko version may end up being switched- still the right place now)

Hi George,
For Windows use the .exe not the Java .jar file. It should be no different than any other Winboard engine.

The group with your engine has begun play. Jim got me a jet exe that works great! I will be posting every few rounds. I cannot post after every round with as many going at once as I will end up with.

George,
Did the .exe I included (made with launch4j) not work?
