Hi all,
I'm just releasing my ~2300 engine (Windows/UCI only)
The download link is here: http://lazybug.wz.cz/cheng3_uci_v1.0.zip
If someone would be willing to host it elsewhere I'd be happy.
Thanks and enjoy

Re: cheng3 uci v1.0
Mediafire seems to do a great job hosting binaries for free.
If you are willing to release the source, there's a multitude of good options.
IMO there's no shame in releasing messy source code.
Everybody here who's an honest programmer has written a mess, and won't judge harshly.
Everybody here who's not an honest programmer won't understand what is a mess, and can't judge harshly.

I'll try to setup an account there and post a new link.UncombedCoconut wrote:Mediafire seems to do a great job hosting binaries for free.

As for the source, you hit the nail on the head. The source is messy (more than that in fact), that's one of the main reasons why I prefer to keep the source closed. I've nothing to hide, though. But maybe I will clean it up a bit and release under GPL.
Thanks.

Yes, that's a problem with the host, it sometimes doesn't finish
the download.
Tried mediafire as Justin recommended, try this link instead:

Re: cheng3 uci v1.0
Martin - it's just a free image from the net that I've used "Paint" on to make a logo. I'm not a wonderfully creative graphic artist like some of our other members who make logos. You're welcome to use it in your package (for as long as your engine remains free), but it would be nice to include the logos of others too for choice.mar wrote:Wow Graham that's amazing!Graham Banks wrote:

Cheers,
